2.1.15 - Serra da Lousã | Góis | Arganil
Second day of the year and second day of adventure. Second day of the year and second day back to childhood memories - Tia Isabel and Tio Carvalho Lima Marmeleira parties - and the memories of the golden days of rallying: Lousã, Arganil, Folques, Gois, Castanheira de Pêra.
I drew a mixed route between the dirt and the asphalt, chained curves made in second, third and fourth gear, causing me to smile at the thought of how it would be interesting to use a paddle shift or a powerful brake. I do not know if I did the trip with a BMW or with a Lancia 037, Ford Cosworth, Porsche or a blue, red and white Deltona. With that thought I was wandering through the Serra da Lousã and the Aldeias do Xisto.
The first stop was at the castle of Lousã, with the Santuário da Nossa Senhora da Piedade and waterfalls. But impressive as all this, the valley, with many shades of green and silence. A place of contemplation of nature and its magnificent work (or divine).
Then, the zigzag of the asphalt N 236 came to earth to observe the world from the top of São Lourenço. Followed by the villages of Cerdeira and Candal.
On foot, jumps up from rock to rock, feels the cold cut skin and the sun to get it back again.
Some say what might be lost in the deep Portugal; I believe we can find us.
